2012 Jeep Liberty Sport Reviewand you your season episode
T he Jeep Liberty is a time capsule. Unfortunately for Jeep , fuel economy numbers now trump departure angles and crawl ratios in advertising. Jeep will replace the Liberty with a Fiat-based vehicle in That move will likely compromise off-road abilities; it also could scare the people who are currently buying the Liberty, who like it because its platform is a known quantity with reasonable support from the aftermarket. The Wrangler manages to be much better off-road and no worse on-road than the Liberty. Jeep used to have a gap between the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee that the regular Cherokee filled nicely, but the Liberty never properly replaced the Cherokee.

Love It! I enjoyed every second of my driving experience with it. Also Hands free Headset Installed. Only bad side is it does not accelerate very fast, which is expected with SUV's. Pros: I love the look of my car. It stands out from the crowd. Also very comfortable for the driver as well as the passengers.

No question about it, the Jeep Liberty is boxy and rugged. And while we're becoming accustomed to seeing carlike vehicle masquerading in trail clothes, that's not at all the case here: The Jeep Liberty remains mostly truck. But for families who plan on spending most of the time on pavement—and with the trail-focused Renegade model dropped—the Liberty's appeal is limited because of its poor fuel economy and lack of comfort. Looking tough and traditional—though a bit slab-sided from some angles—the Jeep Liberty appearance hasn't changed much over the years. A few years ago, Jeep amped up the macho-man appeal and added chunky details to look even more trail-tough. The Liberty's styling inside keeps to that role with a stark and simple look, although there are more hard plastics than in most crossovers this size.

The Liberty's interior has an industrial appearance, and there's lots of hard plastic in spots where padded surfaces would be preferable. The driver's seat offers great forward views. The standard cloth bucket seats have supportive seat cushions, but backrest padding is a little lumpy. Small door openings make it harder to get in and out. Although its horsepower V6 and This car overall runs well, smoothly if you take care of it , but it prone to issues if you don't keep up on regular maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes. It works great in snow if you know how to drive in snow , and up until my moon roof broke a month ago, I haven't had any real issues with it in the 3 years I've owned it. Seeing as how they no longer make the car with the full retracting moon roof as mine has, the part to fix it is very hard to come by. Multiple electric window motors have broken and replacing them is expensive. Rear brake lights burn out about six times a year.
