I just completed day 29 of the P90X workout! I also had to do Ab Ripper X. I used anywhere from 10 pounds up to 15 pounds depending on the exercise. For previous P90X workouts, the lightest dumbbell that I was using was 15 pounds, and I was able to go up to 25 pounds on some of the exercises. This shows you how intense this workout is! My muscles got tired very fast, mainly from the push ups! Just about all of the different types of push ups were extremely tough!

In this moves you will experience moves that you probably only laughed or dreamed about doing. In fact, there is a way to modify them along with these other moves that I explain in my YouTube video below. I think by now you start to realize how P90X will shape up your life. I will suggest that this is the time to really zero-in on your nutrition. Be sure to check out the video at the bottom for a few tips on how to overcome some of the struggles you may or may not encounter.

Overview: This workout is extreme. The challenges found within are enough to test anybody, even a fitness fanatic, so prepare to push yourself. These final exercises will allow anybody to push their limit, and the rest of us to struggle and strain and feel a sense of accomplishment for even just hanging in there. So have fun!

Both Mike and I were looking forward to getting to the new phase after the recovery week. Confession — we skipped the X-Stretch video. We were planning on doing it after our morning group run on Saturday Mike ran for the first time since the last half marathon and I ran 7. Ah well. I can definitely tell a difference in his body but I think he was hoping for a bigger change. This weekend we found more before and after videos and got inspired again. Then, we measured him and he has lost over an inch off his waist and gained nearly an inch on his biceps!
