There were 12 acts that performed in the quarterfinals during the August 21 episode , and on Wednesday night seven of them will advance to the semifinals of the live shows. But how does it work? At the beginning of the August 22 results show, host Tyra Banks will relay which acts finished with the sixth, seventh, and eighth most votes from the previous night. During the hour-long show, fans will get to vote on which of the three acts they feel should advance to the semifinals. NBC viewers in the East and Central time zones will get to watch the show live, but viewers in the Mountain and Pacific time zones will have to follow along online.

The competition is really starting to heat up on America's Got Talent this week, with the first round of the quarterfinals airing on Tuesday and Wednesday night. As AGT fans well know, the quarterfinals mark the start of live performances and viewer voting. And with all the incredible talent being showcased in season 14, your votes — including the ones you cast during the live Dunkin Save voting rounds — are key to helping your favorite acts move on to the semifinals. As a reminder, the three quarterfinals rounds which will air August 13 and 14, August 20 and 21, and August 27 and 28 will work as follows: Twelve acts will compete during the Tuesday night episode, and viewers will vote for their favorites. Then, during the Wednesday night episode, the voting results will be announced.

The six acts who were at the top of the votes will automatically move forward to the semi-finals. The three acts with the least amount of votes from last night will be automatically eliminated. Then, the three remaining acts will compete for live voting with the Dunkin Save. This voting allows just one of the three remaining acts to move forward in the competition. But, keep in mind that you only get one save per registered email address.
